Summer Reading

This summer, we're eager to share the fun with you and your family during all of our Summer Reading Adventures.  Events and activites are scheduled at each Branch throughout the summer.

Children will be celebrating the fact that every hero has a story as they keep track of their reading online through our website or on the game board they receive during registration.  Every hour participants read will bring them closer to a super reward and a super reading celebration - the Summer Reader Palooza on August 8th at 10:30 am at our Headquarters Branch.  For more information on upcoming programs please check these blogs:

Teens are invited to "Unmask" their reading potential through Summer Reading Adventures created just for them. Teens can sign up online or in person at any Branch.  Track your reading online or through a Bingo card and celebrate their success at the FanFest Finale party at Millhopper on August 7 at 6:00 pm.

Be sure to check the Library website and social media accounts all summer long for more information about programs and events

Your Summer Reading Adventure is about to begin.  Stop by any Alachua County Library District Branch or visit us online to start your adventure.  Keep looking for blogs about great programs and summer events!
