FOODIEspace: A Taste of African Heritage - Healthy cooking on a budget

The Library Partnership Branch is partnering with Oldways to bring you a 6 week nutritional cooking program: A Taste of African Heritage.

At Oldways, nutrition, culture and sustainability are built into their mission of preserving and promoting traditional foods in ways that are good for people and good for the planet. We'll taste delicious foods, share fabulous recipes, and cook up tasty, affordable nutrition, all while discovering the tastes and healthy properties of African Heritage Cuisine.

View a video from Oldways for more information. We invite you to take a new look at your heritage and your health, and to enjoy the foods, and the ways of cooking and eating, that are a part of your healthy heritage.

Sign up to join us for healthy eating made delicious at the Library Partnership on Thursdays, Apr. 19 through May 24. 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM.  A workbook will be provided for attendees.
