Literacy Festival

Come celebrate a passion for
learning at the 22nd Annual Family Literacy Festival being held at
the Alachua County Headquarters Library and Matheson Museum
on Saturday, October 2nd.  This year’s
event will feature local performance groups, vendor displays, literacy awards,
free books, and much, much more. Keep an eye out for special guests
Publixaurus, Smokey the Bear, Max City Dog, Smokey Bear, Super Why and Waste
Watcher.  Free Parking is provided at the
Union Street Station Parking Garage from 9:30 to 1:00. So come discover and
celebrate all of the local resources available in our community.
