Literary Journalism Workshop on October 9 at Headquarters Library

The Alachua County Library District invites the public to a free Literary Journalism Workshop on Sunday, Oct. 9, 2 to 3 p.m. at Headquarters Library, 401 E. University Avenue. Fiona Lama will discuss how to write a literary journalism article and present the elements and examples of this type of writing. She will read from published examples and offer feedback on pieces shared by attendees.

Lama draws on her careers, education and experience. She is a published writer, Santa Fe College professor and a library specialist at Alachua County Library District. She has two Master’s Degrees one from the University of Florida in Education and one from Southern New Hampshire University in English.
