Calling all homeschoolers! We have six monthly programs just for you this fall in the library district. We also have many books about homeschooling.

 

Millhopper Branch

TINKERspace for Homeschoolers

2nd Tuesday of each month, 10:00am - 11:00am, September 10, October 8, November 12

Join us for some STEM fun each 2nd Tuesday. We'll have a different TINKER event each month.  The library has lots of TINKER boxes to choose from including robotics, circuitry, gears, virtual reality and 3D doodle pens.  This is a great way to share time with other homeschoolers and explore some fun topics.

 

Newberry Branch

Homeschool STEM Class

2nd Tuesday of each month, 11:00am - 12:00pm, September 10, October 8, November 12

Homeschoolers from around the county can join us for some fun science and technology activities.

 

Alachua Branch

Homeschoolers Art Experience

2nd Friday of each month, 1:00pm - 2:00pm, September 13, October 11, November 8

Homeschooler's unite with fun art. Local home school students and parents meet monthly for interactive educational activities. Open to all home school students and parents. Presented by library staff.

 

Cone Park Branch

Cone Park Homeschoolers

3rd Monday of each month, 1:00pm - 2:00pm, September 16, October 21, November 18

Homeschool families are invited to join us for fun activities.

 

Headquarters Branch

Homeschool Art Experience

3rd Tuesday of each month, 11:00am - 12:00pm, September 17, October 15, November 19

Home school students and their teachers are invited to create art and learn about featured artists in this interactive program for homeschooling families.

 

Homeschool STEAM Class

3rd Tuesday of each month, 12:00pm - 1:00pm, September 17, October 15

Interested in the newest Makerspaces? Enjoy art classes? Come to our Homeschool STEAM Class where you can learn about a variety of subjects and have access to interesting technology. Suggested for children ages 6-13.
