Sewing at the Library in October and November

Sewing at the Library with a sewing machine

Did you know that the Alachua County Library has sewing machines available? It’s true! Our library branches host a variety of sewing workshops and classes. Some of these sessions are aimed at beginners, but many of these are just open sessions where people of all skill levels are welcome. We also have several hand sewing opportunities. So if you have been wanting to learn how to sew, or would like an opportunity to share your skills with other people in the community, take a look at our upcoming schedule of events to find a program right for you.
