A couple of weeks ago, OverDrive updated the app for eBooks and eAudiobooks. On Sunday, March 6, OverDrive released another update solving bugs the previous update had caused.
If you've been having difficulty downloading eBooks and eAudiobooks because the app crashes, please try updating the app again.
If updating the app again doesn't solve the problem, here are two suggestions from OverDrive:
- If you have an OverDrive Account, follow these steps.
- If you are registered with an Adobe ID, then follow these steps from above, but if you have to uninstall and re-install the new OverDrive app to your device, you will have to temporarily authorize the OverDrive app with your library card number and then deauthorize it in order to reauthorize the OverDrive app with your Adobe ID to continue reading your currently downloaded items. If you forgot your password for your Adobe Id, you can retrieve your password on the Adobe site.
