Amphibian Friends at Millhopper

Those who have come into the Millhopper Branch Library over the past week might have noticed a small addition to our Children’s Area: Tadpoles!

Found as eggs in a puddle outside, these little guys have since hatched into tadpoles and are growing at a rapid pace. It won’t be long before their legs grow and they will be able to survive outside!

We encourage anyone interested to stop by the Children’s Area and watch their progress from day to day, and check out our collection on frogs and their life cycle to find out what will happen next!

To learn more about tadpoles and frogs, check out some of these great books!
