Renovation/Expansion Celebration on July 11

The Alachua County Library Districts invites the public to view the newly renovated and expanded Newberry Branch Library on July 11, at 10:00 AM. The beautiful renovation boasts the addition of a Quiet Reading Room, a Teen Zone, and two Study Rooms. Additionally, the branch’s children’s area was completely redesigned with artwork from Themeworks of High Springs, two new Early Learning computers and colorful, child-friendly furniture and carpet.

Festivities on the 11th include petting goats from Whiteacre’s Dairy Goats farm, superhero characters, face painting and other entertainment. Local dignitaries and special guest will deliver brief remarks followed by a ribbon cutting and reception.
