Dragon Rises College of Oriental Medicine

Students from Dragon Rises College of Oriental Medicine will be at the Headquarters Library on Monday, June 4 at 6:30 pm in Meeting Room B to demonstrate several of the techniques that make up an acupuncture session.  Many people think of Chinese Medicine as acupuncture needles; but using needles is only part of the many modalities included in Chinese Medicine. Ear Seeds (reflexology), Qigong (energy exercise), Diagnosis (tongue, pulse etc), Herbal and Food Therapy, Asian Bodywork, Cupping and Gua Sha are also techniques used by Chinese Medicine practitioners.  Practicing students will guide you through several of these techniques and answer your questions about the nature of Chinese Medicine.
