Amazon has issued a critical software update for Kindle eReaders which must be done by March 22nd, 2016. You can find more information on the Amazon website.
This does not seem to affect tablets with the Kindle app or devices that have automatic updates and Kindles created in 2013 or later, but it doesn't hurt to check your device to see if it has the latest updates.
After March, 22nd, 2016, you will need to update your Kindle device manually, instead of wirelessly, using a computer and USB cable, since the wireless capablitily will not longer work.
We are unsure how this will affect your use of Kindle eBooks checked out through our OverDrive services at the moment, but will update this notice as soon as we find out more.
