Language Learning at Your Fingertips

Are you looking to learn a new language? Check out Transparent Language and Signing Savvy, the newest eSources to join our collection. Both of these can be found on the eSource list on our website.

Transparent offers 100+ languages, as well as English for 25+ native languages. Take your language learning to the next level with courses and exams that cover speaking, reading, writing, and listening. To get started with Transparent Language, click here. Select "Create New Account" and enter your library card number. Fill out the form, including your e-mail address and password, which you will now use to login. If you have used either of our other RBDigital eSources, One Click Digital or Zinio, you should already have an account and can use it to access Transparent.

On Monday, December 19th from 2:00-3:00PM in the Foundation Room at the Headquarters Library we will have "Intro to Transparent Language." Stop by for a quick lesson on getting started with this eSource and see just how fun and easy it can be to learn a new language!

Signing Savvy has also been added to our eSource collection. This online, visual ASL Dictionary is a great resource if you are looking to learn American Sign Language. Signing Savvy also allows its users to build word lists, create virtual flash cards, print signs, build sign phrases, and more.
