Changes are coming to the list of eSources available on the library's website. Oxford English Dictionary (OED) was recently removed in November, while both Powerspeak and Literature Resource Center will be leaving on December 1st. The abscence of these three eSources will make room for new and exciting eSources to be added to the list. We are always looking for ways to improve our collection and that includes any online resources available to you, our patrons.
In lieu of Powerspeak leaving the list, Transparent Language will be added in its place. It is scheduled to debut in December. If you are interested in learning a new language or would like to brush up on one you already know, please take a look at Transparent. We will be hosting "Intro to Transparent Language" on Monday, December 19th at 2:00pm in the Foundation Room at the Headquarters library.
If you are missing OED and looking for a reputable and free dictionary to use, visit Dictionary.com, Oxford Dictionaries, or Merriam Webster. If you are looking for a similar eSource to Literature Resource Center, check out LitFinder, which is available through our list of eSources.
