The zoo visits the library

SFC Zoo ProgramThe Santa Fe College Teaching Zoo will visit the Headquarters library again on July 27th and August 10th. For June's program, the zoo staff presented on Florida wildlife and showcased the Corn Snake, Box Turtle, and American Alligator (photo, left). Live animals are present at all zoo events at the library. These programs are family friendly and great for all-ages.

Why do zoos exist? What role do they play in the conservation of different species of animals? Learn the answers to these questions and much more! The SFC Teaching Zoo staff will be here with their animal ambassadors to teach the importance of zoos in not just our community but around the world.
