Early voting will be held Monday, Oct. 19 through Saturday, Oct. 31 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the following branches:
- Tower Road Branch, 3020 SW 75th St., Gainesville
- Millhopper Branch, 3145 NW 43rd St., Gainesville
Vote-by-mail ballots can also be turned into ballot boxes at these locations during early voting hours only.
Traffic and parking congestion may occur at these two locations during early voting. Patrons can transfer their holds to a different library branch by calling their branch. Please follow the signs posted at each location to park for voting or library services.
Both branches will still offer walk-up services, including holds pickup, library card renewal, library card sign-up, and computer and copier appointments, and limited browsing hours. Each branch will have procedures for walk-up services as follows:
Proceed to the walk-up door at the front of the building. Have your library card, picture identification, or email notice ready and we will get your materials for you. Follow the signs at the walk-up door for holds pickup and card services to the left and computer/copier appointments to the far right. Please wear a mask when interacting with staff and practice social distancing while in line. For browsing or computer appointments, please enter through the main, south-facing entrance.
On your way, call us at 352-333-2840. When you drive in, take the first left into the east side parking lot and park.
