Life Skills for Teens-Bike Basics

Do you ride your bike in town or on one of the many trails we have in Alachua County? If your bike gets a flat tire on the road or on the trail, do you know how to fix it?

May is National Bike Month! We in Alachua County are very lucky to have such a bike friendly community. Biking is part of everyday life for so many people and has so many advantages over driving. Whether you bike to save money, to avoid parking hassles, to exercise or as a recreational activity (or all of the above!), biking should be celebrated.

If you would like to learn how to do basic bike repair, please join us Thursday, May 1 at 5:00 at the Library Headquarters Branch. This event is part of our ongoing Life Skills for Teens program and is being presented by ACLD and 8th Ave. Bike & Coffee House.
