Magic: The Gathering Play Session on Thursday, October 26th at 5pm in the Teen Space
This fall at the library come to the Teen Space and learn how to play Magic: The Gathering. Staff from R.U. Game? will be here to help you build your starter deck and to show you the basics of game play.
Or, if you're already an advanced player come and play anyways!
Children, Tweens, Teens and Adults of all ages are welcome!
Hour of Code: Candy Quest on Monday, October 30th at 4:30pm in Meeting Room B
Come to Meeting Room B and take part in Hour of Code: Candy Quest!
What is Candy Quest? Candy Quest a game where you can design your own candy troll character and go on a multi-level quest for candy to help your character find its way home. You'll solve coding puzzles to navigate your character through the human world, while avoiding obstacles and collecting gumdrops and mints.

Halloween Costume Contest Party on Tuesday, October 31st at 6pm in the Teen Space
Other than the candy, what's the best part of Halloween? Dressing up in awesome costumes of course! And what better way is there to show off your costume on this day? By entering into a costume contest!
How do you enter into the costume contest?
First, you can come to the Teen Space and take a selfie at the selfie station. Then you would follow the library's Instagram page then tag your selfie with @alachualibrary. Or what you can do is just take a selfie from wherever you are then just follow and tag us with @alachualibrary.
Tweens/Teens from ages 10 - 17 will be judged as one group and adults 18+ will be judged as another group.
Winners will be announced at the party in the Teen Space. Meanwhile, there will be refreshments and a movie playing.

Amrit Yoga with Veda on Thursdays at 5:30pm in Meeting Room A
This class is open to everyone. A yoga mat, comfortable clothing, and a warm blanket are recommended.

Coloring for Families on Thursdays at 6pm in the Storywoods Room
Coloring sheets for kids and adults will be provided as well as crayons and colored pencils.
CREATEspace on Saturdays at 1pm in the Storywoods Room
This is an opportunity for community members to make, learn, explore, and share with a variety of technologies. This hands on program will allow participants to use a 3D printer, 3D modeling tools, coding programs, basic circuitry, tinkering, and robotics.
*Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.*
Lunch-Break Yoga on Mondays at 12pm in Meeting Room A
Take a break with yoga!
This yoga class is beginner friendly and appropriate for all levels of practice.
A yoga mat, towel, and comfortable clothing are recommended.
