Read with a Dog--Friday, October 18 at 3:00 PM: Reading aloud can be nerve-racking. Thankfully, our friendly therapy dog  will never judge you. Meet Barney and his human companion Joann Alam, leader of the North Central Florida chapter of Love on a Leash.

Meridian SSVF--Tuesday, October 8 & 22 at 10:30 AM: Meridian is here for providing information and access to services for low-income and at-risk veterans as well as other individuals.

Gentle Yoga--Wednesdays starting October 2 at 5:45- 6:30 PM: A restful, calming class including breathing and gentle flowing movements. A perfect beginning yoga class that is also appropriate for those with limited mobility.

 

 

 

ARTspace (All Ages):

James Castle's Found Art--Wednesday, September 25 at 4:00 PM & Saturday, September 28 at 2:00 PM: Celebrate National Deaf Awareness Week and deaf outsider artist James Castle by making charcoal drawings using found objects like cereal boxes, cardboard and twine.

Self Portrait Collage with Turbado Marabou--Wednesday, October 2 at 4:00 PM & Saturday, October 5 at 2:00 PM: Turbado Marabou shows how to use assorted items, paper, glue and even materials you bring from home to make a work of art that speaks uniquely about you! Registration required. 12 spaces available. *If you are available to attend both sessions, you will create a self-portrait in the first & bring a T-shirt to print it on for the second class.
