Join us for an afternoon filled with information, fun activities, and community connections at our Homeschool Resource Fair on Saturday, August 5, at 2 p.m. at the Millhopper Branch of the Alachua County Library District.
Regardless of your homeschooling experience, connect with local organizations that provide academic support, volunteer posts, extra-curricular activities, field trip destinations, and more!
As you walk around and interact with the various organizations, kids can enjoy fun activities and crafts. Stick around to enjoy a short Irish dance performance by the Gainesville Dance Academy troop, a mini-presentation by library staff about how to get the most out of your library card, and a short circus act presented by Gainesville Circus Center.
Stop by the front desk to sign up or renew your library card and head over to the kid’s area to browse the collection, check out the library events calendar, learn about additional resources, and play on the playground.
If you are already involved in homeschooling, considering it, or would like to learn more about what our area offers to families with school-aged kids, this event is perfect for you and your family!

- Alachua County Animal Resources
