Library Partnership celebrated its Grand Opening on Saturday, Aug. 11. Special guests, neighbors and friends attended the ceremony. After the ribbon cutting, the crowd enthusiastically toured the new spaces including a Teen Space, community meeting room, study rooms, quiet reading room, Children's area a Snuggle Up Center, a Media MAKERspace and comfortable computer workstations as well Partnership for Strong Families new offices and meeting room.
Library staff, community leaders and neighborhood residents came to see what's new and different. All visitors were welcomed and received a commemorative gift, a wall charger marking this date.
All ages explored the new Children's area and Snuggle Up Center generously funded by the Alachua County Library District Foundation. Some stopped to relax in the quiet reading room generously funded by the Friends of the Library. Guests enjoyed cake and refreshments in the large community meeting room. Many were excited to learn that this library has a new Media MAKERspace that will soon provide opportunities to learn digital filmmaking and music recording.

Library Partnership will continues collaborating with Partnership for Strong Families to work with more than 30 organizations to provide library and social services in this facility.
