On December 8, Library Director Shaney T. Livingston thanked retiring Alachua County Clerk of the District J. K. "Buddy" Irby for his service to the Library District.
ACLD Governing Board Chair Lee Pinkoson presented certificates to 17 graduates of the Alachua County Library District's Management Academy. The graduates completed a five-week management, supervision and development program. Alachua County Library District worked with the County's Human Resources Department Office of Organizational Development and Training to conduct this management training.
