Looking for a variety of music and dance to lighten up your spring? Look no further than the Archer Music Series! We're so excited to share some of our favorite performers with you.
Kicking off the series is local folk musician Jerry Barry, guitarist of the New Minstrel Revue. He'll be here Saturday, March 7, at 2 p.m. with a selection of his original songs.
Up next are the Gainesville Irish Dancers on Saturday, March 14, at 2 p.m. They're back to delight everyone with their rhythmic dance steps and beautiful music, just in time for St. Patrick's Day!
The next weekend, we'll be remembering the "good old days" with our Big Band Social on Saturday, March 21 at 2 p.m. Relax and just listen or grab your partner and dance. Make new friends and enjoy refreshments!
Then, in April, enjoy the pleasant sounds of harpist Barb Kerkhoff as she plays a mixture of Celtic, popular, and classical music on Saturday, April 18, at 2 p.m.
Our grand finale will be on Saturday, May 16, at 2 p.m. The Creaky Blues Band will be playing an assortment of acoustic blues tunes on the fiddle, bass, guitar, and harmonica.
Don't miss the excitement! We hope to see you at the Archer Branch soon!
