New books are always super exciting, and this August has a ton of new books to pick from. We've compiled lists for Adult, Young Adult, and Children's new books that the library has ordered, all published in August.

Adult releases for August include the latest novels by Danielle Steele, James Patterson, Charlie Jane Anders, and Simon Brett, among others. There are a lot of romantasy novels on the list, as well as a few spooky titles for those of us already gearing up for Halloween.
Young Adult Releases August 2025
Young Adult readers will see that the graphic novel adaptation of The Raven Boys Maggie Stiefvater, is releasing this month. A number of long-running manga, such as Jujutsu Kaisen and Spy x Family, have new volumes coming this month, as well as The Rema Chronicles by Amy Kim.
