Together We Read Available Feb. 21, March 6 2024, One Summer in Savannah

Join us for the next Together We Read digital book club from Feb. 21 - March 6. Library patrons can read Terah Shelton Harris’s thought-provoking debut novel about family, redemption and unconditional love, One Summer in Savannah, as an eBook and a digital audiobook for free. Library patrons can access either book format with no waitlists or holds by downloading the Libby app. They may also participate in an online discussion with other readers throughout the country. The library will be hosting an in-person book discussion event on Saturday, March 9 at 2 p.m. at the Headquarters Library. We look forward to seeing you at the event!

Eight years since her daughter, Alana, came into this world, following a terrifying sexual assault that left deep emotional wounds, Sara would do anything to forget, but when Sara's father falls ill, she's forced to return home and face the ghosts of her past.

About the author: Terah Shelton Harris is a collection development librarian based in Alabama and a freelance writer. Her debut novel, One Summer in Savannah, was a LibraryReads and Target Book Club pick. Her second novel, Long After We Are Gone, publishes in May 2024. She has been published in Women’s Health, Natural Solutions, Every Day with Rachael Ray, Backpacker, Draft, and Women’s Adventure.
