This holiday season, the library’s gift to Alachua County residents is our new video and music streaming service – hoopla digital! Alachua County residents with a library card can use the hoopla app or website starting Tuesday, Dec. 14, 2021 to enjoy thousands of movies, TV shows, albums, comics, and graphic novels on their phone, tablet, computer, or TV. You can borrow 10 items a month with this new service.

Alachua County residents can visit hoopla with their library card number and create an account with their email to get started. Content can be streamed from any computer, television, mobile device, or platform by downloading the hoopla digital app for iOS, Android, AppleTV, Chromecast or Roku.

All hoopla movies and television episodes check out for three days, music albums check out for seven days, and graphic novels and comics check out for 21 days. 

The hoopla digital collection includes fan favorite movies, newly released albums, and TV shows. Watch Hallmark holiday movies, binge on BBC series, and listen to albums by Drake, Olivia Rodrigo, Brandi Carlile, and more.
