In Alachua County we are fortunate to live in a climate that allows us to garden all year long. It is approaching the time of year when no one in their right mind ventures outside past eleven in the morning without liberal application of sunblock, a gallon of water, and a huge floppy hat though.
While the spring crops wrap up their season you can still get a few things in the ground that thrive in our summer heat. Just get them in the ground early in the morning and spend the rest of the day in some shade with some lemonade.
