The Newberry Branch Library is celebrating Black History Month with An Afternoon with Antoinette Chanel, author of A Book for Black Girls. This event will be held Sunday, February 2, at 2 p.m., and is suitable for people of all ages. The author will read from and discuss her book, and she will have copies for sale.
Antoinette is a mentor, motivational speaker, and author. She hosts The Midday Reset Podcast, a show centered on giving busy people a mental break, and trains corporate leaders to use communication to cultivate better teams and make more money.
