Belgravia

Belgravia is a novel by Downtown Abbey author Julian Fellowes. The story starts out in Brussels where we meet the Trenchards and the Duchess of Richmond, whose nephew loves the daughter of the Trenchards. But the party is on the eve of the Battle of Waterloo, and the nephew is called to duty. Twenty-six years later, back in England and in particular Belgravia, we find out what happened on that fateful night in 1815. It is a surprise and a scandal fraught with grief and consolation.
