Japanese Disney?

Studio Ghibli a Japanese animation studio. The main player in this organization is Hayao Miyazaki. He is the co-founder of Studio Ghibli and has been illustrating and animating films for nearly five decades. Miyazaki's success has invited comparisons to Walt Disney and Steven Spielberg. In 2014, Miyazaki was awarded an Honorary Academy Award for his impact on animation and cinema. He is the second Japanese filmmaker to win this award after Akira Kurasawa in 1990.

Studio Ghibli movies are beautiful and magical. Mizazaki loves food and it is evident in many of his films ranging from ramen in Ponyo to the katsu in My Neighbor Totoro. My particular favorite is Howl's Moving Castle, orginially adapted from the novel by Diana Wynne Jones, which is the first part of a three part series.

The referenced media source is missing and needs to be re-embedded.
Another favorite of mine with awesome food scenes and wondeful characters is Spirited Away.
