Join attorney Phil Kabler, faculty member of the UF Warrington College of Business, former professor at the UF Levin College of Law, shareholder at Bogin, Munns & Munns, P.A., and President of the Eighth Judicial Circuit Bar Association, to learn about the way small businesses have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Join us via Zoom or Facebook on Thursday, May 27 at noon.

In a split screen interview with Library Specialist Fiona, Kabler will discuss how the pandemic had a challenging impact on small businesses and their  operations. However, the pandemic also provided a teachable moment because with challenges, come opportunities. Join us to discuss what actions small businesses can take now to survive, to repurpose, and to become resilient for the future. Up for discussion are what sources of support are available to small businesses? What legal actions can small business owners take to safeguard their business? What do new small business owners need to know? And what advice is there for small business owners now that many restrictions are being lifted?
