Books are for more than reading! They are old friends, travel companions, and, at times, creative muses or secret keepers. Learn how to create your own altered books to use to hide your secrets or express yourself.

Materials needed for this project: a book to alter (please use an old book or one that you are able to cut up without consequences), ruler, pencil, glue, paint brush, water.
Optional items depending on your creative choices: small picture frame 4”x6” (this is only needed if creating a shadow box/display book), paint, rhinestones, permanent markers, cut out book pages, hot glue gun, etc.
