Celebrating Black History at Cone Park! From February 1 until March 31, the Cone Park Library will be hosting exhibit artifacts and panels from the orginal exhibit displayed at the A. Quinn Jones Museum & Cultural Center. In 1923, A. Quinn Jones became the first principal of Lincoln High School. After years of hard work , he developed Lincoln into the second fully accreditied African-American hig school in the state of Florida. The items displayed honor the legacy of A.Quinn Jones and his invaluable contributions to the field of education in the City of Gainesville.
