HealthStreet at the Library

HealthStreet is a community engagement program from the University of Florida that focuses on research outreach and community needs and services.

HealthStreet's community health workers will visit the library to perform Health Needs Assessments. With the Health Needs Assessment, the HealthStreet team provides resources to free or low-cost medical or social services and links individuals to research studies.

HealthStreet also distributes free Narcan Kits, Deterra Deactivation pouches, and provides blood pressure screenings.

Beginning in March, HealthStreet will be at the following locations:

Headquarters Library
First and Third Wednesdays
2:00 - 4:00 p.m.
