I Am The Shark by Joan Holub

Just who is the greatest shark in this book? The narrator, Great White Shark, thinks that he is. However, as he swims along, he meets a variety of other shark species who are really greater than he is in their own ways. The Whale Shark is the largest, the Angel Shark's camouflage makes her the sneakiest, the Greenland Shark is the oldest, and so on. The Great White Shark becomes frustrated in trying to find some way in which he is better than all the other sharks. I Am The Shark by Joan Holub is a hilarious picture book story chock full of elementary school-aged information on real sharks. At last, he finds a way in which he is the greatest. Hint: it has something to do with his teeth!
