Fun facts:
Frank Miller's start came in 1979 when he revamped the Marvel comic Daredevil transforming it into a "dark and shadowy film noir crime flick."


In 1986, Miller stripped away the campy 1960's Batman image when he created Batman: The Dark Knight Returns.  This new version of Batman was tortured and just as flawed as his enemies.  With this latest twist in comic lore, Miller proved comics weren't just for children.


The 2005 movie release, Sin City, was co-directed by Frank Miller, Robert Rodriguez, and Quentin Tarantino.  Robert Rodriguez had to quit the Directors Guild of America because it was taboo to offer co-director credit to someone with no film experience.
