Make a sensory bag

Sensory play is an important part of your baby or child's development. Sensory bags can provide a variety of textures and colors that will stimulate her senses and help her to make sense of the world. Children with sensory integration difficulties may find sensory bags especially engaging, as the bags provide a controlled environment to explore different sensations.

To make a sensory bag, all you'll need is a plastic bag, gel, duct tape, and scissors. Food dye, glitter, and plastic trinkets are great additions that can add a variety of colors and textures to your bag.
