Free Masks in Alachua County

You know how important it is to wear a face mask to protect yourself and others from COVID-19. But maybe you are having trouble getting a mask. 

These local groups are giving out free face masks. 

  • High Springs Fire Department Free Masks: If you or a family member needs a mask. Before going, please call 386-454-2056. (Do not call 911).
  • City of Alachua: Free cloth masks. Pick up at the City of Alachua City Hall drive-thru window, Monday through Thursday, between 7:30 a.m. and 6 p.m. Limited number of masks.

Using and Taking Care of Face Masks: Once you have a mask, you want to make sure you are using it the right way and taking care of it.
