2020 Quilt Trail

Celebrate and learn the art of quilting in March as the Alachua County Library District hosts the 2020 Quilt Trail in partnership with the Quilters of Alachua County Day Guild.

Pick up a Quilt Trail bookmark at participating branches and visit each stop to view quilts and quilted works on display. Quilt Trail displays featuring more than 200 pieces will be up at Alachua, Cone Park, Hawthorne, Headquarters, High Springs, Library Partnership, Micanopy, Millhopper, Newberry, Tower Road, and Waldo branches.

Participants can track their progress along the trail on special bookmarks that can be returned to any branch by March 31 to be entered into a raffle for a redwork quilt donated by the Quilters of Alachua County Day Guild. The more branches you visit, the more chances you have to win.

Try your hand at quilting or learn a new skill at special programs throughout the Library District in March.

PLEASE NOTE: All programs have been suspended from Saturday, March 14 through Sunday, April 5 out of an abundance of caution due to the outbreak of COVID19 (coronavirus).
