Teddy Bear Parade at Tower Road!

Calling All Teddies!

Did you know that September 9th is National Teddy Bear Day? Named for President Theodore "Teddy" Roosevelt, the first teddy bears appeared in early 1903. They were an instant success and have been one of the most popular children's toys for over 100 years! This year we are celebrating Teddy Bear Day with our very own Teddy Bear Parade!

Bring your teddy to the Tower Road Library on September 9th at 11:00AM for a special teddy bear preschool storytime! We'll enjoy stories and songs all about teddies, and then parade with our teddies through the library! If you don't have your own teddy (or you forget it) we'll have some extra teddy bears to borrow (or adopt!) for storytime and the parade. Come join us!
