Getting 1 million of anything is a milestone worth celebrating.
Today the Alachua County Library District has hit one of those milestones. For the first time ever, the ACLD has crossed the 1 million mark on digital checkouts. Digital checkouts include any digital item checked out from the library's OverDrive, hoopla, or Flipster online collection. Items like eBooks, eMagazines, digital audiobooks, movies, TV shows, music and graphic novels are all available for digital checkout.
Last year digital checkouts from the ACLD topped out a 971,035. This year, thanks to all our loyal patrons, the Library District will have well over 1 million. As of Sept. 22, 2022 the ACLD has had 1,001,877 digital checkouts this year.
