Bugs are all around us. They are in our front yard and the kitchen. They swim in the stream down the road and buzz in your ear in the evening. Some bugs eat trash, some glow in the dark, some help us farm, and some can destroy a house! Bugs are amazing!
Today's Craft - Buggy Art!
Make a bug collage out of leaves, twigs, and flowers.
Gather your material
What kind of bugs do you want to create? A butterfly? Think about what would make a good butterfly wing. What about the body? Do you want to make a beetle? What could you use for the legs or antenna? With a basket or bowl, go outside and pick some interesting looking leaves, flowers, and twigs to use.
Use your imagination. You can base your bug on a real bug or one from your dreams.
Spread out the glue. Be generous here! A lot of pieces probably won't lay flat on your paper so they'll need all the help sticking they can get.
Arrange your pieces however you like.
