Kelly Warner has a history of conflicts with library staff. Kelly also has a criminal record. However, Kelly was looking after three children during the holiday party. Witnesses reported see Kelly Warner and her children together--none of them mentioned seeing Kelly alone, or seeing the Warner children unaccompanied. Anya Nowak stated that she had to maneuver around Kelly Warner and her children in the youth area at 5:15, and while she didn't keep close track of them after that, there's no evidence that Kelly somehow managed to sneak away from her children in the following ten minutes, before the body was found by Joseph Spencer at 5:27.
