Gainesville, Fla. – The Alachua County Library District presents the 2020 Quilt Trail celebrating the art of quilting with more than 150 quilts on display and quilting workshops throughout March.

The Library District and the Quilters of Alachua County Day Guild are partnering for the first Quilt Trail featuring more than 200 items including antique quilts and smaller works. Quilts can be viewed at Alachua, Cone Park, Hawthorne, Headquarters, High Springs, Library Partnership, Micanopy, Millhopper, Newberry, Tower Road, and Waldo branches through March 31.

Participants can track which displays they visit on special bookmarks available at any branch. Patrons can return bookmarks to any Library District branch by March 31 to be entered into a raffle to win a redwork quilt donated by the Quilters of Alachua County Day Guild.

Quilting newbies and enthusiasts can also learn new skills at special quilting programs all month. See the full list of classes at www.aclib.us/quilts.
