Gainesville FL, -- Kick off Summer at the Library with the Alachua County Library District and our community partners at Reader Palooza on Saturday, June 7, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Tower Road Branch. Come out for a day of entertainment and education as we begin summer. Visit with more than 30 community organizations and learn about summer opportunities and activities. There will be a scavenger hunt, roaming performers, games, summer reading sign-up, and more. Don’t miss this year’s kickoff to Summer at the Library, Reader Palooza.
Be sure to register early for the Summer Reading Challenge. Pre-registration begins on Tuesday, June 3 through Beanstack,. Patrons can track their reading minutes from June 7 to Aug. 10 and earn digital badges for completing reading challenges. Each badge is a chance to win weekly prizes from Flip Factory Zone or one of three grand prize tablets from PDQ Restaurant.
