Join me, Ms. Sylvia from the Hawthorne Branch, on Wednesday, May 12 from 3-4 p.m. on Zoom or FacebookI will guide you through a brief history of how Japanese characters came to be what they are, a drawing demo of some simple characters, and how you can combine characters to form other words. I will have bamboo brushes and traditional Japanese ink and paper, but all you will need is ordinary paper and pens so that you can follow along.
