
Throughout the summer, you're invited to join us for a variety of programs and presentations geared towards adults. Participants are free to come to as many of these programs as they wish. Supplies will be provided, and availability may be limited for some events.
Adult Summer Camp 2023 events will take place at 12:00 p.m. each Monday through Thursday, beginning Monday, June 5. All events are scheduled at the Headquarters Library. You can find more adult programs throughout the Library District on our Events Calendar.

- Mondays | Learning Libby

June 5, 12 & 26
Description: Join us for this hands-on class where library staff will teach you how to use the Libby app to download eBooks and eAudiobooks to your tablet, Kindle, or phone. Participants should bring the device with them that they wish to read or listen with.
The Library will be closed Monday, June 19 for Juneteenth.
- Tuesdays | Introduction to Meditation

June 6, 13, 20, & 27
Description: There are many benefits to meditation, but where to start? In this program, Caitlyn Adams, owner of Heart Mind Healing, will teach you about and lead you through different styles of meditation. Together, we will explore mindfulness, visualizations, and more. No meditation experience needed, just a willingness to be.
Caitlyn is a yoga instructor and energy healing facilitator. She found these practices to help with her anxiety. In her free time, she likes to spend time with her 3 rescue dogs, work on jigsaw puzzles, and cook vegan comfort food.

June 8, 15, 22, & 29
Description: Answering trivia questions is great fun, but also can be educational. Spend some time testing your memory about different topics every Thursday in June. Will you score in the Top 3? Come find out!
You may need to download the Kahoot! App on your phone or device to participate. Don't have your own device? No problem. We can provide a laptop for you to use to answer questions.

Description: Makerspaces and STEM education challenge people to learn by doing. Discover how to develop a “Maker Mindset” by working on a new creative challenge each week this Summer at the Library. These workshops are geared towards adults.

Description: Representatives from the Alzheimer's Association will be here to speak on the topic of Alzheimer's and Dementia.

Description: Need help with your genealogy research? Come to our Genealogy Open Lab to receive assistance from an experienced genealogy librarian and to use the library's valuable resources in your research. Laptops will be available to use and our genealogy reference area is just outside the door.
