Halloween is coming around again and a great way to enjoy the spooky season while social distancing is through creepy decorations. This video program will instruct you how to make one such creepy artifact: the spiderweb mason jar. The items needed might already be in your home; if not they can be found cheaply. This is a craft that a child is capable of handling alone, though they may want an adult's help if safety is a concern.
After you've tried out this craft, you can have a go at other household decorations taught on our esource Creativebug (free and available for at-home use for all library card holders). You can also check out these other fun Halloween-craft books from our collection, available through our curbside service or during our in-branch browsing hours.
Share your results with the library on our social media places; we go by @AlachuaLibrary on Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.
I wish everyone a safe and Spooktacular Halloween this imminent holiday season!
