September is National Library Card Sign-up Month.

A library card gives you access to more than 800,000 items, including books, eBooks, audiobooks, eAudiobooks, magazines, DVDs, and CDs. You can also use your library card to access many databases, check out unique items from the Library of Things, borrow a WiFi2Go mobile hotspot, and access thousands of movies and television shows with online streaming services.

This September, when you sign up for a library card, you have two chances to be rewarded. At the end of September, every branch of the Library District will have a drawing, and one new patron will receive an ACLD Swag Bag, including a lunch box, pencils and pens, a coffee cup, and more. In addition, one new patron will win a personalized READ poster! Visit your local branch and sign up today. One winner will be selected per branch.
